Well, where did the time go? It's the end of March and don't know where the last two months went. Well February was pretty much a write off. Between, hospital visits to Mom, Dave and his second hernia and me with a pinched nerve in my back. Well one good thing happened since all this Gordie came home and he is now a fully licensed Electrician. Woo hoo!!!!!!! Now all he has to do is find a job which I'm sure he will. The weather has been up and down along with other thing but have done a bit of crafting.
The first 4 are the different sides of a Never Ending Card that I made for a challenge. It just keeps going and going. The last one was for an all white challenge. Well we'll see if I win any challenges from last month.
Well I've been playing with my new distress oxide inks, really loving them for sure. Might sit outside this afternoon, high of 14, oh ya finally. I need to stamp and cut crazy dogs, birds and cats for Caz. Might play with my inks as well. Here is what I've done with them so far. Pretty happy with the results.
I like the way how you can stamp on black cardstock. I just need to get my hands on the other six colors.
This last one is the new inks but with texture paste, that was something new to try and was very happy with the results.
I sat outside for a bit yesterday afternoon, it was a wee bit chilly but just nice for the short time. I think Gizmo was liking it as well.
It's just finally time to be able to spend some time outside and not have all the winter gear on.
I've also been crafting in the kitchen. Made some date squares and oatmeal raisin cookies.
I couldn't forget Gizmo so I made him some pumpkin/peanut butter treats and he's liking them so far.
Well, it's Sunday morning, sun is up and just about ready for a refill on my coffee. Will see what today brings for sure, lets hope for the warmer temps they are predicting.

Half way through February
Where has the time gone? The days are just flying by. Gordie is just finishing his 2 weeks in Alberta and will be home tomorrow. I've been busy making some cards.
The first card is one I made for Gordie for Valentines to send back with him. He liked it. The second is a tag I made using a 3 color selection. The third is a Tim Holtz stencil I've used 6 different ways with distress inks and distress crayons. The next two are just cards I've made for the heck of it. And the last one is my first Easter card. The background is distress crayons and the crazy animals are water color pencils and the bunny ears have the flower soft fluff for texture. I actually had fun making this one might make another one similar to this.
One good thing about this point in the month it's closer to spring than not. Also thinking about what I would like to put on my Timmy wish list of new products. There are a few that would make me happy, I'd like to finish the sets of distress crayons so I have more crayony fun to play with. There are some new stencils and stamps too but just have space my list out.
I hope to get some crafting in this weekend inbetween the good weather. We are barbequing for Family Day weekend, Steph and Justin are coming and Gordie is home so should be a good weekend.
Hope to have another post before the end of the month. See you next time.

Almost the end of January
Well it's been awhile since I've posted but I've had lots to do. Gordie is back working until the end of this week, he'll be home for a week. Will be good to see him, but he said he is getting sick with a sore throat once again for his trip home. Not a happy camper. Will have to shower him with lots of Mom love chicken noodle soup.
Well I finally got Moms calendar done for her. January may almost be over but she will have 2 days left once she gets the calendar. Better late than never.
I hope she likes it. She didn't have a calendar so I made her one.
I also finished our March calendar page.
All is green for March.
I have been having trouble crafting with the mild, damp, drizzly weather we have been having. My hands don't seem to be co-operating for me so been laying low but I'm hoping to get some valentines done before Gordie comes home so I have one for him to hide in his bag. I know he's almost 30 years old but he's my boy.
Well I think this is all for now, not much been happening. Till next time. Have a great day.

Chilly Saturday
Well here it is the weekend and not going to far today. It is one chilly day out there, even too cold for Gizmo. We had one turkey left in the freezer so we decided to cook that today and add some heat to the house.
Today I put a quest out looking for anyone wanting cards made. I've had one request from our nephew. He was looking for a birthday card for his soon to be wife. Here is what I came up with and he liked it so I'll finish it up for him.
This style of card is called a Joy Fold and I also made it for a challenge calling for this style. Now that Christmas is over I'm looking for cards to make. Here some more that I have made since Christmas
These were made with my one new Timmy stencil "speckles" using distress crayons and the last one I used stickles to add some glitter.
Same stencil but used distress inks.
This one I used distress inks and then texture paste through the stencil
Another new stencil at Christmas "snowflakes" one I used distress crayons and the other inks.
One last stencil I already had in my Timmy stash "wildflowers" using distress crayons and then ink on the edge.
Well I'm off to craft some more. Working on some calendar pages for Mom and then maybe play with some crazy cats and dogs. Have a great day and stay warm.

New Year a New Me
Well my first post ever. Well I made a promise to myself to try new things and this is the first of many I hope. 😃
I retired earlier last year with the hopes of doing more crafting such as cardmaking, scrap my many pictures, crafting in the kitchen and in the garden come summer.
Here are a couple of projects that I have done for the new year.
First time I've ever made calendar pages, it's a fun project that will commit me to the year. Another new thing, finish a project that I start.
Here is another card that I made yesterday. This was for a challenge to use certain colors. I used a new embossing folder and stamp.
I hope that I can challenge myself to bigger and better things this year creatively and personally. Wish me luck but with any luck I won't need it. Until next time, hopefully tomorrow, I will have more to talk about pictures to post and maybe a new project. Have a great day and happy crafting with whatever you do.
